Privacy Policy

Photo Size Reducer - MB to KB ("the App", "we", "us") is developed by Mahesh Varma under JEWEALITY. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it's used, and the choices available to you. We built this App around a simple principle: your photos belong to you, and shrinking or converting them shouldn't require handing them over to anyone else.

Your photos and images

The App's core tools — Compress, Batch Compress, Resize, Crop + KB, Format Converter, Auto‑Fit Square, Strip Metadata, and Join Images — all process images entirely on your device. Photos you select are never uploaded to our servers or any third party, because we don't operate a server that receives your images at all. Compression, resizing, cropping, format conversion, and metadata stripping all run locally, using your device's own processing power.

Information you provide

The App does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide personal details such as your name, phone number, or address to use any feature.

Locally stored app data

To show your recent activity in the Output tab, the App keeps a small local database on your device recording the file path, size, dimensions, tool used, and timestamp for images you've processed. It also stores your display preferences (theme, accent color) locally. None of this leaves your device — it is never transmitted to us or anyone else, and it is removed automatically if you clear the App's storage or uninstall it.

Automatically collected information (advertising)

The App is supported by advertising through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect device and usage information, which can include:

• Advertising identifiers (such as your Android Advertising ID)
• General device information (model, OS version, language, screen size)
• IP address and coarse, IP‑derived location
• App interaction data related to ad impressions and clicks

The App requests as few permissions as possible:

• Photo access — uses Android's built‑in Photo Picker, letting you choose images without granting the App broad access to your entire photo library.
• Storage — only requested on Android 9 and below, to save processed photos to your gallery. On Android 10 and newer, the App uses Android's scoped storage system and needs no storage permission at all.
• Internet access — required so the Google Mobile Ads SDK can request and display ads.

• To provide the App's photo tools, entirely on your device.
• To show your recent conversions in the Output tab, stored only on your device.
• To display advertising that helps keep the App free, through Google AdMob.

We do not use your photos, or any information about you, for any purpose beyond operating the App on your own device.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your photos with anyone — they never leave your device in the first place. The only third party involved with the App at all is Google, for advertising, as described below.

Google AdMob

This App uses Google AdMob to display banner and, occasionally, interstitial ads. Advertising helps keep the App free for everyone. AdMob may use the device identifiers and data described in Section 1 to serve relevant ads and measure performance, under Google's own policies:

Consent for EEA, UK & Switzerland users

For users in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent before showing personalized ads, in line with GDPR requirements. A consent form is presented automatically when required — you can choose to allow or limit ad personalization at that point. To change a previous choice, clear the App's storage from your device (Settings → Apps → Photo Size Reducer → Storage → Clear Data); this resets consent and shows the form again the next time you open the App.

No other third‑party SDKs

Beyond Google AdMob and Google UMP, the App does not integrate any analytics, crash‑reporting, or social SDKs (for example, no Firebase Analytics and no Crashlytics) at this time.

Since your photos and conversion history are stored only on your own device, you're always in control:

• Delete individual entries any time from the Output tab.
• Use multi‑select or "Clear All" to remove several items at once.
• Uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally stored data, including your saved history and preferences.

We have no server‑side copy of your photos or history to delete, because none is ever created.

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant age of consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us at service@jeweality.com so we can address it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (Europe) or CCPA (California) — including the right to know what data is collected and to request its deletion. Because we don't collect or store personal information on our own servers, most such requests are already satisfied by the fact that nothing exists to retrieve. For anything related to advertising:

• Reset or opt out of your Advertising ID from your Android device's Settings → Privacy → Ads.
• Use the ad‑consent options described in Section 5.

Because processing happens on your device and we don't operate servers that receive your images, there is no transmission of your photos to secure in the first place. Locally stored app data is sandboxed by Android to the App itself, the same as any other Android app's private storage.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if we add new features or third‑party services. We'll update the effective date at the top of this page whenever changes are made. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
